I have a had a generic gauge on the fuel filter of a Detroit 60 for years. The gauge probably came from surplus center or ebay.
But I have seen the needle fall off gauges, too.
What is the difference?
Snubbers work fine, too. I have gauges on the hydro pressure lines of the high clear sprayer.
