| I don't have any opinions about your experience other than if they were going to do something other than what you explicitely asked them to do, they should have for darned sure called you before doing it. I would approach it calmly. $700 vs what would have likely been over $300 is not a huge difference in terms of whether you'll survive financially. I would go in there and calmly explain that I would like to be notified before someone does something contrary to what I ask. I'd explain that if I couldn't trust them to do that, I wouldn't be able to trust them with larger jobs either and I'd be taking my business elsewhere if they didn't make it right. | |
