You'd think open land would be valuable there, too. I mean something other than private golf courses so people could take a drive and see some open countryside rather than just seeing urban chaos around them. From the govt's perspective its just too tempting to convert that land into higher tax revenue uses. Its the same thing everywhere.
Haleiwa How did that land rezoning go or has it?
