central - east central Minnesota - | Haleiwa - 6/12/2012 23:34 This has been a bad week. In a three day span the Land Use Commission approved two new subdivisions of about 2000 acres (including the one I testified against) and it doesn't look like they are in any mood to stop there. The subdivisions keep moving farther and farther out from Honolulu, and ag land keeps shrinking. I'm thinking it might be time to move back to the mainland, because I honestly don't think farming has much of a future here.
Thanks for the update - That isn't a good decision, especially when the developments could have been moved/developed on other lands less suitable to farming . . . . . 2000 acres, man, that's a big chunk, on the island ~
