<p>It could be tetany. One lesson to learn out of this is always keep out good quality mineral year around no matter what. Some will say well you are wasting your money but what are these two cows worth. I dont see it as a waste at all. I would get a vet to look at them and you might save them. They will need fluids. Alot of times tetany cows will try to fight you but most times that is near the end. I will add this no matter what is wrong with them I would bet it is a defiency and going through the stress of last year and the drought plus calving and all they may not have gotten back to where they need to be even though they look good. I have always said with cattle you dont really know how your decisions or factors of today will affect you until about 6 months down the road. Then you really know.  </p>
