West Ky | yields suck here. We shoot for 90-100 bu. Some years in the past we could get over 100 averages. We got a lot of money tied up in it and it is averaging around 50 on our best looking fields. We are expecting 30bu on most of it. Most of this is due to drought. Grains are small and shrivled looking. Also their is big stretches out in the fields of blackish looking wheat. Other guys are saying they are seeing the same thing. | |
