Northeast Nebraska
There is cereal rye and annual rye. Are there pros or cons to either? Its my understanding that cereal rye is easier to kill than annual rye.

Could either be broadcast spread onto disked cornstalks and get a good stand? I have a steep field that I no tilled and it still washed pretty bad. I'd like to get it smoothed up and held by a good cover, but dont know how to go about it.
