just a tish NE of central ND
I know things like this are tuff when you rent from relatives.(been there and dont that) If anything, send them your input costs fertilizer, seed spray, figures on harvest and estimate feildwork and spraying costs with any information you give out. I personally would not give them any information in writing, and no income information at all,If they are experienced in shares, they should already know what is going on on the income side and do not need to know more. Most share crop landlords are very in the dark about our expenses here.
I have as of lately heard one landlord counting bushels of beans on a load and counting loads, then mentioning how much beans are worth and estimating how much money the renter is makeing. no mention of any expe3nses though.Last year when things were much different and some of his renters feilds didnt look as pretty he talked down and talked negative on the guy.
(You related to Elmer?) Just kidding around a little here ! Hope it all works out good for you.
