The book I looked at said they are good for contact and excellent for systemic. A systemic chemical will translocate in the plant where the contact chemical only affects the areas hit. Your AIXRs will have fewer droplet but larger droplet size. They will not completely cover the plant the way a finer mist will cover it, You'll be fine with glyphosate but those nozzles won't be the best for some fungicides that don't translocate.
