the problem with fleabay is that if you put a max bid in you don't know if the other bidder is legitimate or just the seller using another account to run you up. I've bid on auctions where I've used a max bid and got overbid by one bid and then the next week the same used item was for sale again, same pictures, same description, same everything. More than once.
