Chester, GA and Griffith, IN | I have a 2006 Mazda Tribute, same thing just Mazda instead. I have the 4cl engine I get consistently 27-29 MPG on road trips with cruise set and a few hills. When we go through Tennessee the MPG tanks going up large grades and the engine lugs but that isn't much of our driving, it drops to ~22 MPG then. Mine is AWD but as with most AWD now it is really just FWD until it detects slippage then it engages the back wheels. Very reliable clean interior on mine I'd have to say it was a good buy for me. I'm very pleased with the purchase overall it has room to comfortably fit 5 and has room behind the seat for suit cases etc...
The 2.3 engine is Ford's 2.3 that is considered one of the best 4cl engines ever made and is popular in racing on dirt tracks. |
