Kansas | I had to read your post again, you said he made indirect threats, I would say if he was being a jerk to absolutely do it to prove a point in addition to what the others have said (though proving a point shouldn't be the sole reason for spending the kind of money you're talking of course). I think most would use the "I need the ground to pay the bills" and so on for an excuse. I guess one way to look at it is if the other guy doesn't have the ground, he won't have to pay his help so much. | |
