Richland Center, Wi | We have a Takagi (sp?) in our milk house. It heats the well water to 170 degrees with no problem. This particular model would be overkill for a home (IMO). I estimate that we are using 1/2 the amount of propane now compared to our previous tank heater. If a tankless heater is installed in a home, I would suspect that you would not see the same level of savings. It is supposed to have a 20 year useful life. The best we could do with a tank heater has been 10 years. When our tank heater (propane) dies in our house, I plan to install a tank-less Takagi unit. | |
