Wow, we went through Gilroy on our way to San Jose.  I thought I'd end up in the morgue or hospital.  The smell of garlic permeated everything in that area.

I don't mean to be offensive by what I'm saying, just telling you what it was like for me.  Would be the same if I had to drive through ragweed or marigold fields.  I can't stand highly aromatic plants or people and I mean that physiologically not psychologically.
