It is alot for a person to get use to especially a teenager. Will he be a candidate for a pump? I know my niece got to get one and that helps that you don't have to get the shots then. Not sure how long you have to wait before they let you have one. But I would ask about it. Good luck to you all as the family has to deal with the new normal.
