| I must have been three, maybe four years old. We were cutting wheat with our Baldwin combine, pulled by our U M&M tractor. Of course I just had to be out there with Dad getting in his way. He finally decided the safest place for me would be up in the combine bin. Now if you have never been in the bin of combine with bare feet and no shirt on, and sit right under the spout and let the wheat almost bury you and then jump and get on top of the wheat just to let it almost bury you again, you just don't know what fun is all about. Dangerous?? Never crossed my mind at the time. | |
