Been planting with articulated tractors for 8 years, now with a quad track. One tractor to plant with and use in the fall on cart. Visibility is better and sit up higher to see into the truck. Also load per axle and psi on ground will be less than larger mfwd tractor rear axle. As long as your moving forward hitch doesn't move that much. Try to find a 9230 or 9330. I had a stx 275 with the row crop front steer, didn't like it at all and auto steer wouldn't work unless locked out.
