Rivers, MB | x2 on the road fabric. We've started using that anywhere where there's going to be heavy traffic.
Last year when we were building our driveway to our new house, we scraped the black soil off till we were down to the yellow clay underneath. Laid down the road fabric. hauled in gravel (w/ crushed rock in it) and packed it. Day after we were done, 5 or 6 cement trucks came in. Deepest impression was 1". And that was on a 1 day old driveway. I was very impressed.
