Subject: Re: what is a good zero turn mower?

Central / West Texas
I bought a snapper 500z this year but have only used it once. Now we are in a drought it looks like. Might as well mothball it till next year. Several people around here have had them for while and really like them. I only mowed once with mine so far and it did the job in half the tiime. My only complaint is that it really stirs up alot more dust than my old JD, but it cuts alot better. Has something like 18000 fpm t ip speed. which is nearly double that of my old rider! It has the fabricated deck and commercial hyrdos. The yard people around here are running bobcat mowers. They used to have husler, but had hyro trouble on alot of them around the 500 hr mark.
