Subject: No dog in this fight either..

Hey I just added some info to a thread.. didn't mean to hijack or anything.. just thought those was the "most relevant"

Your points may be valid.. I don't know.. just bringing info to the table.  Crude demand is up.. spare capacity is down.. reportedly only about 2 mbpd on the world scene.. that is "tight" as Rapier notes.

"Where would prices be if not for crop shortages..?"

Don't know.. but the reality is that SAM came up short.. and even though there's a lot of acres of HRW Wheat.. and some may do quite well.. that is not the case for every acre.. including some on our farm.  So whatever that means...???  I'll let the markets sort it out.. Do I think we are going to have a busted crop?  No.. but it "might" not be as big as expected earlier...  then again.. we don't know until we put the combines in.. I'm sure there's some good areas... and I'm sure that we can raise big crops this year.. Will corn yields be record large or another 145'ish crop..??

That alone might make a couple of dollars difference to the price.. to early to tell imho..

"have a good one."
