The Landoll will bounce, and to me it won't level a rough field like a field cultivator will. Both have there place, Also with a cultivator you can get by with working most once vs twice with the landoll.(if you want a smooth seadbed) But on our rough ground were we leave the stalks, the VT is a really nice tool. We mainly use ours in the hills or where it's to weedy for a FC.
