Subject: Landoll vt plus vs field cultivator

Demoed a Landoll vt plus last week and Case 330 last fall. I really like the job the Landoll does, I tried it in all soil types, even did some plowed loamy clay ground and it was impressive. Took 2 passes at 2.5" deep first at 7 mph, second at 10 and it really leveled it out. The key is speed 8-10 mph (Landoll doesn't bounce at speed like the 330 does) and working angle to level the field. Also ran it across some heavy clay that was soy stubble that had some ruts first time at a 45* filled in the ruts nicely, second time straight both at 10 mph 2.5" deep. The round bar reel also does a nice job of breaking lumps in heavier soil and firming the bed in sand. I'm having a really hard time thinking of anything the Landoll vt won't do as good or better than a cultivator. Can you think of anything a cultivator would do better?
