Just my opinon and subject to change.

However reading several articles about windows8 leads me to the conclusion that if you are in the market for a new computer, buy it now.  Get it before Windows8. 

If professionals are having a hard time figuring out how to shut it down or close programs I can only guess at how much trouble the average user is going to have with this dual operating system.

Start button gone.

Desktop now effectively gone and replaced by something called metro.

Other opinions welcome but reading and reading leads me to believe that this original release will have people asking, "if I have to learn all new commands, links and terms why not just go to Linux or Apple?"
