Some of the luster is wearing off the H2A programs. Custom harvesters have traditionally leaned heavily on the labor of H2A workers from South Africa, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand et, al. The US consulates in South Africa have been extremely difficult to work with. Our current administration has made the paperwork, bond, and stipulations a nightmare for getting H2A labor. The weakening of the American dollar has also reduced the incentive for quality foreign applicants.

The help that comes is USUALLY very high quality. As always, not every hire is a good hire. There are some language/accent/terminology barriers but generally they are mild.

I don't mean to paint a bleak picture of it but this option becomes less and less viable as time goes on...
