I would get the Cat. We have had four JD 4 wheel drives and got a MT855 last fall. I can tell you the MT855 is better than any John Deere we have had. If you haven't had tracks before you are in for a treat. Rumor has it that John Deere is coming with a new track system in a coup;e of years. I think I would still stay with a proven track tractor like the MT's.
