My opinion is if you don't like it quit. Maybe since cattle and sheep are so simple with small capital investment you should try your hand at that. Essentially that is what your saying, right?

On the other hand I think your are full of crap if you think capital investment is small for any commodity based business. Price swings are very common historically for all commodity based businesses. If you look back all of those businesses have experienced volatile pricing. I'm actually looking at investing in another business that is not directly tied to commodities. Spreads risk out to better take advantage of volatility. Try looking at something that compliments the dairy, while at the same time has the potential to make money if you lose on milk. Can get complicated but I think I have a good plan.
