South Australia
I am also attempting to interow sow on 9 inch spacing on a 62 foot flexicoil and have been impressed with the technologies ability to do this (achieve about 80% between the rows). Research studies in australia have shown significant benefits. Always amuses me when JD have autosteer demo days and tell people that only potato growers need rtk and that all you need is an ATU (something that i and many others would agree are not able to achieve 2cm), which can't be upgraded to 2cm without buying a new green tractor. Mind you green salesmen know more than agronomists don't they? I will give the ATU's one thing though, they have performed well in my area in terms of reasonably straight lines.
