Subject: Seeding between 10" rows!

North Central ND
I bought a JD 1895 Disc drill this year and had some serious issues when the drill seeded on top of last years row. (In Wheat) I didn't seem to get the seed soil contact I needed so I need some help here. Do I understand this right.... Can I run a JD receiver on the tractor and the drill and will they talk to each other to keep that drill going perfectly straight between lasts years rows. And if so, could I use SF2 signal or would I need RTK? I'm new to this, so any information would be helpful. Thanks!
