Bondo makes a product that is for fixing fiberglass and plastics on cars that will work or at least it does on the rubbermaid troughs. It is kind of messy and a little high but will fix several troughs. You will find it at the auto parts store. It will be in a card board box and called fiberglass repair kit. Let it dry real well and it should work.
