My father had a go around with farm plan back in the late 80's.

JD dealer couldn't figure out that the timing was way off on his 4020. Dealer changed out the injection pump 5 times and the fuel supply pump 3 times. Tractor was never fixed by any of these changes. Well, while the dealer was trying to find its a** with both hands, farm plan started to harass him with the nasty letters and calls. We have never done business with them since.

Other dealers also use farm plan. I know that our local AGCO dealer does.
