I use 8-10# of annual ryegrass.Some guys go down to 5# if worried about compitition with the alfalfa.Mix your orchardgrass with the ryegrass and put in oats box.Stop every few rounds and stir it up.I put the alfalfa in alfalfa seed box.
Ryegrass dries alittle better then oats but it is still tough to get dry.
