I use snares to control coyotes here, it works very well better than trapping, just find there trails, look for fur or hair on the barb wires, and set snares, coyotes like to follow cattle trails that lead up to watering holes, these work very well for snareing too. I like to use lethal snares and make it so they tangle and they are usually dead, cattle trails though buckbrush or olive trees make a good place to set snares also. I allways set my snares in even # like 2-4-6-8 in one location and about 10-15 feet apart, I have snared mulitiple coyotes at one location, and even snared coyotes and raccoons within 10 feet of each other.
