North Central Iowa | I have a 900 VF planter, I don't have any additional weight on the wings. I was reading in the owners manual that the outside tires should be filled with fluid to help add weight to the wings. I've noticed that he wings seem to rise up more than the rest of the bar, but it looks like there is still good down pressure on the row units. I thought about adding some old suitcase weights to the end to add weight as I don't want to mess with the fluid.
Do you others that have these planters add weight or run them as is? | |
