between emergence to say, 3 inches--------not talking about hoeing the corn out------instead talking about damaging the plant, something like breaking the neck on beans.

I know of nothing that will hurt the corn...........but the subject was brought up, with mixed comments, so maybe it is not as hard and fast as I thought.
