Morris, IL | I really wouldn't think you need DOT number on service truck, its not interstate transport like grain hauling is (grain hauling really isn't either but state of illinois thinks so). That said, maybe if your getting number anyway its wouldn't be a big deal to put it on service truck just to be safe. Don't forget to get UCR registration number for the USDOT number as well, I got a ticket today for not having one. I felt stupid but i never heard a thing about it, found out the hard way today. He gave me a website which lead to this site, had it taken care of in hours. http://www.ucr.in.gov/ Where in NorthEast, IL Bill?
