| For that kind of pressure y ou are looking at four wire hose and it's not cheap nor is the crimping equipment. I was talking with our local parts store about getting our own crimper and I think we'd have $2,500 at the very least in our own setup and that's only for two wire hose in 3/8 and 1/2" sizes. The parts guy said if we were set up as a servicing dealer we could probably save 8-10% on the fittings and hose so unless a person made hundreds of hoses you would never save enough on hoses to pay for the setup but the convenience would be worth alot. That parts store has two rock quarries they service hydaulic hose stuff for and he said they stock stuff up to 2" four wire hose but a 250' roll of that hose is $2,500 dealer costs. | |
