can be just one of those things, ie where they were and area of attached placenta etc

however scanning and separation into management groups can really pay off. Meaning that not only can you get the feeding and condition correct for each group, but also when lambing you can pay the most attention to the ewes that are more likely to require it, ie any triplets, then twins. Also this allows you to have the best pen spacing etc
