Just an update. Was going to get calf and real mother up to a pen and now the wanna be mother is determined no one will move the calf. Thinking she would tear every fence down just to find that calf I let things go one more day. Today calf is still spunky, fresh poop and still with wanne be mom. Her udder not as plump as it was. As a young boy when we milked cows bucket calves was an everyday thing. First time I have dealt with this in beef. If I knew it wouldn' affect the wanna be mom I would leave things go. Thanks for the input.
