| Doesn't keep the snow and rain out, but I just use a Crystalyx or SmartLic barrel. Very durable and cheap. If I run into a stretch of inclement weather, I put out less mineral more often. The barrel lasts until it rusts out and then use another one. Not sure what the deposit is nowdays, I think it costs $8?
As dry and mild as this winter has been, I've been bringing home 6 bags of mineral in the trunk of the car. I put it all out and it's gone in a week. The barrels hold about 3 bags each. | |
