Going to be doing a little more examining of what I have today, before I call any more people. After talking/reading & thinking some more yesterday I found that these 'up-dates' to the GPS are to get it to recognize new WAAS satellites. That's all great & I'm sure would help but for one fact - I'm not using WAAS = I'm still on CG beacon.

Going to start out by putting my whole monitor in another combine where we know things work. Then we'll work through to see what component of my system ain't doing what it's 'sposed to be.

 Thanks for the names & numbers, when I get a little further along, I'm sure I'll be calling them. Can't have too many good dealers around. I just couldn't believe how the ones that used to be close to 'here' don't mess w/ 'em anymore...
