West Central Minnesota | Having deployed to the middle east, I will say it was very rare to run into anybody over there with a shaved head. And as for the suicide bomber comment, 99% of the time, suicide bombers would have a clean shaven face. It was one of the ways to look out for suicide bombers in a crowd. You see 9 guys in their normal garb and scruffy beards, and one wearing all white with a freshly shaven face....he's the guy to focus on.
So maybe there is another group that young guys these days are trying to emulate? | |
