I don't think what was used is that concentrated. The descriptions of what was used sometimes refer to Lugol's solution

I see it is regulated and is inordinately expensive now, so probably just stick with the chlorhexadine solution. The udder wash is povidone-iodine, or "tamed iodine" and probably won't work the same, just don't know. Might be better??, I am sure it would be too concentrated right out of the jug.
