Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | We drove up US54 from Tucumcari to Wichita in the past couple of days...............again.....and had this conversation........again. I decided I was gonna ask where I'd get an answer instead of silly cornbelt farmer guesses.
We saw lots of irrigation well heads (right term?) without pivots attached. Do you take those 'in' in the winter for maintenance, updates and such? Or why did we see this?
Are the strobe lights on top of the pivots an FAA requirement or what is the purpose for those? |
