NE Iowa | Like to make my own numbering scheme so like the Ritchey engraveable tags with the T-lock buttons. Number never fades. Use 3 digit number for cows with first number being year born and 2nd and 3rd numbers just go up by one. Heifers saved last year were like 152, 153, etc. This year the keeper heifers will get tagged 254, 255, etc. That way I know at a glance how old the cow is.
