Subject: RE: 4730 busting filter housings

South Georgia
The pump's deadhead pressure will be higher with fertilizer than with water, so apparently your deadhead pressure is higher than the max pressure of your strainer housings. The pump speed on my red sprayer is set with a hydraulic flow control valve, I turn it down a pinch when using fertilizer, otherwise my deadhead pressure will get up over 150 psi.

If there's a manual hydraulic valve in your pump drive plumbing, you may need to turn it down a pinch, or that may be something that Deere sets through your Greenstar display.

Hope this helps,
Adrian
