Subject: open Canopy on 66 series tractors? How to quiet the echo under the metal canopy top?

Piedmont, NC

Put a canopy on my dads old 766. Its really nice and all metal, but man all the sound from the tractor and engine echo badly under it. Would you put foam under it? Will the adhesive spray last outside? Its a 2 post canopy.
