Northwest Iowa
Bettermilk.com gets about $.42-$.85 each depending on amount ordered. We use them and put them through the dryer also. Wash 8 loads a day and have them last about 8 months. Milking 400 hd useing 200 towels and wash and dry as we milk. Use the cheapest soap for Sam's Club and electric dryer. One towel / cow 2x / day. Never going back to paper, have been doing this for 5 years. When the edges start to fray is when they start to roll in the dryer for us, then its time to send to the shop for grease rags. We use the cheapest household washer and dryer from local hardware store and have them last 18-20 months before needs replacing. Have found repairing used ones cost as much as new and they are under warrenty for a year on average.
