What a mess ! After getting burned last year on planting early and having to replant most of my corn I waited this year. Last week of April corn looks pretty decent. Stuff planted May 6,7,8 followed by 12 days of cold wet conditions was terrible and had to be replanted. Replanted most of it mid week and missed some bad weather earlier but last night we got hammered with 2.5" of rain that came hard and fast. Replanted corn will likely be no good again. Beans planted last week were up within 5 days and looked good all up with nice even stands. Now they are submerged and covered with floating trash and will likely need replanted in areas as well. Hate to see 12" tile riser reverse flowing but it happens. Ohio weather "here" always manages to screw you over whether it's early or late. Seems you can't win for losing sometimes.
