Please don't take this the wrong way. To me it sounds like you are smaller and you have been spending alot of money on new farmland and tile. So, if I think back when I was in your shoes, spending $40k on a 18' tall 60x 100 was not in my budget. Honestly, I would consider a 30x40 with a 11' ceiling or a 40x60. They should cost you between $10-15k. Keep it within your budget. If you can afford it, go ahead and build it bigger, you can always use the room. 1 more thought: don't be affraid to put up 4 flags to represent a new barn area and park equipment in it. It will cost you some time but will help you make the right decision on your barn needs.
