nw iowa | we have three murphy barns and they are natural ventilation with curtains.our elect bill for past 14 years has gone from around $100/mo to start. now it is about $150/mo with increases in rates over the years.no fans.barns are situated east to west so we get a pretty good breeze when it is hot.also can drip/emit water on them if too hot and still.only costs a lot if it is cold and we are empty in winter and need to run heaters. | |
